In September, necessary Microsoft Security updates were carried out. This update was necessary because a critical vulnerability had been discovered in Windows, the so-called PrintNightmare. Unfortunately, this update has caused printer problems worldwide. Also at the Radboud University it is no longer possible to print in the usual way if you use computers that are not in the AD domain. This includes all staff and students who use Windows devices that are not under the control of the ISC or users of macOS/Linux.
Printing bypass
It is possible to print from https://peage.ru.nl. Choose there for web-upload, upload new print job. The prints will then be colour and single-sided.
If you ask a colleague to print something for you. Make sure it is not confidential documents.
Further ...
We appreciate the inconvenience of this situation. Microsoft is still working on the structural solution to the worldwide printer problem. Meanwhile, Information Services, Campus and Facilities and Konica Minolta are working together to create temporary solutions for the university.

Due to the application of necessary print server patches, problems have arisen with connecting network printers.
Efforts are being made to solve this problem by applying fixes.
